Art Psychotherapy is a form of therapy that uses art, alongside talking as a way to explore deeper feelings and helps with mental distress for people of all ages. You do not have to be skilled at art making to benefit from Art Psychotherapy. It is client led and will be tailored to meet your needs. Art Psychotherapy can be beneficial for a range of issues from anxiety, birth trauma, life transitions to relationship difficulties.
Sessions are 60 minutes weekly
Currently Anna is accepting adults and young people over 16 years old.
Anna is registered with BAAT (The British Association of Art Therapy) and H.C.P.C (Health and Care Professions Council).
EMDR Therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
is a form of psychotherapy that uses eye movements alongside talking therapy to help you process and recover from past experiences that are affecting your wellbeing.
It is recognised by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) and The World Health Organisation (WHO) as a treatment for P.T.S.D.It can also help with anxiety, birth trauma, phobias, single traumatic events, relationship issues and other past experiences that are affecting your mental health.
Sessions are between 60-90 mins in Portobello.
Anna is a member of the EMDR Association and EMDR Academy which accredits EMDR Therapists.
Anna has extensive training in Mindfulness and self-compassion over the last 14 years. I have taught in many schools and run groups for adults experiencing anxiety and young people affected by social isolation.
