The Jing Method, which is simply the name given to a bunch of great techniques that the founders of the Jing Institute* chose for their training. The techniques include the best from both Eastern and Western traditions including; trigger point therapy, myofascial release, acupressure and stretching — combined with an understanding of the biopsychosocial model of pain and modern neuroscience. As a Jing therapist, I am interested in forming a therapeutic alliance with my client, to empower them to make a difference to the pain they experience. The personal approach is what makes it effective.
If you suffer from chronic musculoskeletal pain such as; back pain, sciatica, neck pain, migraines, frozen shoulder, knee pain, ligament or tendon issues; or a systemic conditions like fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis or plantar fasciitis then there is a chance you’ve tried many interventions. This approach can be a valuable addition to a multi-disciplinary healthcare process because the Jing Method looks at the whole person. If you want to work together to find the triggers/movement patterns that can be adjusted to bring about a life beyond restriction and pain, then book a treatment with me.
