There are various types of breathwork techniques, but they all share the common goal of using the breath to access and influence different states of consciousness. These techniques often involve specific patterns and rhythms of breathing, along with focused awareness and intention.


By consciously altering the way we breathe, we can influence our physiological and psychological states. Breathwork can help release physical tension, reduce stress and anxiety, increase energy levels, enhance mental clarity, and promote emotional balance. It can also facilitate deep relaxation, emotional processing, and spiritual exploration.


Overall, breathwork offers a powerful and accessible pathway to self-discovery, healing, and personal growth by harnessing the profound potential of our breath.

During a breathwork session, you lie down or sit upright in a comfortable position and engage in a guided breathing practice led by a trained practitioner. 


The practitioner creates a safe and supportive environment, allowing you to surrender to the breath and explore your inner landscape.

It's important to note that breathwork should be approached with guidance from a trained practitioner, especially 

if you have any pre-existing health conditions or concerns. They can provide personalised support and ensure your safety throughout the process. 

I'm a qualified breathwork practitioner and meditation guide based in the city of Edinburgh, East Lothain, and I also work online, which enables me to reach people all over the UK. My journey into breathwork began during the pandemic, where I discovered the amazing benefits and built it into my daily routine, gradually refining my practic

I'm a qualified breathwork practitioner and meditation guide based in the city of Edinburgh, East Lothain, and I also work online, which enables me to reach people all over the UK. My journey into breathwork began during the pandemic, where I discovered the amazing benefits and built it into my daily routine, gradually refining my practice. I became fascinated, reading books and case studies on breathing, biochemistry and self-preservation. The more I learned and integrated it into my life, the more I felt the benefits. I then created my business called Let GO, to share knowledge and good practice on better mental health for anyone that wanted to listen. In early 2023 I trained and qualified as a breathwork practitioner, training in 15 different pranayama techniques enabling me to adapt the practice to the individual's needs. 

Now Having ran over 90 events and classes,featured in 2 podcasts and ran corporate webinars since qualifying, I continue to expand my knowledge and ensure all my clients feel safe and seen! Through breathwork and guided meditation, I am able to help people reach a deeper understanding of themselves and in turn, I learn a little more about myself in each class.

We'll move beyond the usual rhythm of class and into a deeper, more immersive breathwork journey - using conscious connected breathing, gentle movement, and guided meditation.

Therapeutic Qi Gong with Zaneta

  

A gentle, restorative practice for body and mind

My name is Zaneta, and I’m now in my third year of practising Qi Gong alongside Tai Chi, Yoga, and Breathwork. I warmly invite you to join weekly Therapeutic Qi Gong sessions designed to nourish your body, calm your mind, and support your natural vitality.

Qi Gong is a soft, mindful practice rooted in ancient Chinese traditions. Through slow, flowing movements, intentional breathing, and gentle self‑massage, we work
to harmonise the life force (Qi), ease tension, and restore balance from within.


Benefits of Qi Gong may include:

· Improves flexibility and gentle strength

· Enhances balance and coordination

· Reduces stress and anxiety

· Supports better breathing and lung capacity

· Promotes relaxation and mental clarity

· May improve sleep quality

· Boosts overall energy levels

· Supports immune system function

· Can help with chronic pain management

· Encourages mindfulness and emotional well-being and more.

This practice is suitable for all ages and abilities. Movements can be easily adapted or practiced seated, making this a welcoming and accessible experience for everyone. 


No prior experience is needed — just wear comfortable clothing and come as you are.

Soundbath with Angie

This Relaxation Sound Bath brings together the warm Himalayan bowls and the clear sounds of the Crystals bowls for a seamless session of self-care. Let the calming sounds wash over you, to bring about a soothing feeling of ease and calm.


If you're in need of some quiet time to unwind, or perhaps you want a gentle re-focus on your own needs for a change, then I look forward to welcoming you to this event at Portobello Health Hub.


This type of Sound Bath has been shown to provide many benefits to your general well-being, including; pain relief, reduced stress, reduced anxiety and muscle tension, reduced blood pressure, improved sleep.


 No previous experience necessary. Bring your authentic self and an open heart to allow this ‘sonic massage’ to provide you with the time and space to just be.


I look forward to holding & sharing space with you, see you there!(Please note that a Sound Bath is not recommended for those who experience seizures, or have a pacemaker / medical implant fitted. If you have an internal metal plate, you may experience some resonance. I am not insured to provide sessions for those in the first semester of pregnancy.)

Mediation & Reiki Soundbath with Ciara

At my mediation and Reiki-infused Soundbath sessions, my intention is to create a calm, supportive space where you can slow down, switch off and recharge. 

Through meditation, sound, energy, & stillness, my aim is to help you release stress, settle your nervous system, and reconnect with yourself. 


You will be guided through calming meditation, Reiki, and drift into stillness with a nourishing sound bath. 


I really enjoy setting up and holding these sessions, and I'm so grateful to everyone who has joined me. It is a privilege to witness the shifts that can happen when people give themselves this time.

For over 8 years, I have been guiding people through the transformative journey of Kundalini Yoga, trained and qualified with the Sahej Academy in Edinburgh. My path has taken me from studios to retreats, workshops, and community spaces - each time witnessing the quiet, powerful shifts that occur when breath, movement, and mindfulness come together.

Alongside yoga, I am trained in Theta Healing, a practice that works gently with the subconscious to release limiting beliefs and open the door to deep personal transformation. This year, I also completed training in Family Constellation work with Vida, exploring how intergenerational patterns shape our lives and learning how to guide people toward healing these unseen dynamics. By weaving together these practices, I create a space where body, mind, heart, and spirit can align and thrive.
