Breathwork is a transformative practice that involves conscious and intentional control of the breath, promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being. This powerful tool taps into the body's natural ability to heal and regulate itself, making it an excellent complement to Pilates classes, Qi Gong, and soundbaths. While there are various types of breathwork techniques, they all share the common goal of using the breath to access and influence different states of consciousness. These techniques often incorporate specific patterns and rhythms of breathing, along with focused awareness and intention. By consciously altering our breath, we can positively influence our physiological and psychological states. Breathwork can help release physical tension, reduce stress and anxiety, increase energy levels, enhance mental clarity, and promote emotional balance. Additionally, it can facilitate deep relaxation, emotional processing, and spiritual exploration, making it a valuable practice in women's circles. Overall, breathwork offers an accessible pathway to self-discovery, healing, and personal growth by harnessing the profound potential of our breath.

During a breathwork session, you lie down or sit upright in a comfortable position and engage in a guided breathing practice led by a trained practitioner. The practitioner creates a safe and supportive environment, allowing you to surrender to the breath and explore your inner landscape. The breathwork experience can vary for each individual, and it may involve physical sensations, emotional release, or a sense of expanded awareness. This transformative practice helps individuals connect with their bodies, release emotional blockages, and access their innate wisdom. Many find that combining breathwork with other practices like Pilates classes, Qi Gong, soundbaths, or women's circles enhances their journey of stress reduction, personal growth, trauma healing, and spiritual exploration. It's important to approach breathwork with guidance from a trained practitioner, especially if you have any pre-existing health conditions or concerns. They can provide personalized support and ensure your safety throughout the process.

I'm a qualified breathwork practitioner and meditation guide based in the city of Edinburgh, East Lothian, and I also work online, which enables me to reach people all over the UK. My journey into breathwork began during the pandemic, where I discovered the amazing benefits and built it into my daily routine, gradually refining my practice. I became fascinated with the connections between breathwork and other wellness practices, such as Pilates classes, Qi Gong, and soundbaths, reading books and case studies on breathing, biochemistry, and self-preservation. The more I learned and integrated breathwork into my life, the more I felt the benefits. I then created my business called Let GO, to share knowledge and good practices on better mental health for anyone that wanted to listen, including hosting women's circles. In early 2023, I trained and qualified as a breathwork practitioner, mastering 15 different pranayama techniques that enable me to adapt the practice to the individual's needs. Now, having run over 90 events and classes, been featured in 2 podcasts, and conducted corporate webinars since qualifying, I continue to expand my knowledge and ensure all my clients feel safe and seen! Through breathwork and guided meditation, I help people reach a deeper understanding of themselves, and in turn, I learn a little more about myself in each class.

At my mediation and Reiki-infused soundbath sessions, my intention is to create a calm, supportive space where you can slow down, switch off, and recharge. Through meditation, breathwork, sound, energy, and stillness, my aim is to help you release stress, settle your nervous system, and reconnect with yourself. You will be guided through calming meditation, Reiki, and drift into stillness with a nourishing sound bath. I also incorporate elements of Qi Gong and invite participants to join in our women's circles for deeper connection and growth. I really enjoy setting up and holding these sessions, and I'm so grateful to everyone who has joined me. It is a privilege to witness the shifts that can happen when people give themselves this time. Dates are announced on our Socials.
