I qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2013 from the Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh. I have extensive experience within the NHS covering a multitude of areas including obstetrics and gynae, musculoskeletal outpatients and community rehabilitation.  I also have experience in treating sports injuries and working with sports teams. Since qualifying I have had a passion for Pelvic Health and have completed further training in assessment and treatment methods, including the Mummy MOT. I am a member of the CSP, Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists, HCPC and also an associate member of the POGP.

My passion lies with all things Women's and Pelvic Health. I've had a fascination with this area since completing a placement during my training over a decade ago! Fast forward a few years, two wee ones later and my own personal ante and post natal journey under my belt and here I am.

I believe strongly that women deserve more support in managing and understanding pelvic floor symptoms and aim to address this through physiotherapy assessment and treatment. Pelvic floor symptoms remain a ‘taboo’ subject and have a huge impact on everyday quality of life. I strive to help women gain control, overcome their symptoms and most importantly get their confidence back to do what they want to do!

Your growing baby changes your centre of gravity which will affect your posture. Physiotherapy can  guide you to exercise safely during pregnancy, help manage any back, groin or hip pain and help you prepare for birth. This is suitable for women with symptoms as above, or for women who want a check-up with advice and preventative information.
