This Relaxation Sound Bath brings together the warm Himalayan bowls and the clear sounds of the Crystals bowls for a seamless session of self-care. Let the calming sounds wash over you, to bring about a soothing feeling of ease and calm.
If you're in need of some quiet time to unwind, or perhaps you want a gentle re-focus on your own needs for a change, then I look forward to welcoming you to this event at Portobello Health Hub.
This type of Sound Bath has been shown to provide many benefits to your general well-being, including; pain relief, reduced stress, reduced anxiety and muscle tension, reduced blood pressure, improved sleep.

No previous experience necessary. Bring your authentic self and an open heart to allow this ‘sonic massage’ to provide you with the time and space to just be.Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a blanket or two to make yourself a cosy nest to lie on.
I look forward to holding & sharing space with you, see you there!(Please note that a Sound Bath is not recommended for those who experience seizures, or have a pacemaker / medical implant fitted. If you have an internal metal plate, you may experience some resonance. I am not insured to provide sessions for those in the first semester of pregnancy.)
This session includes gentle movement, mindfulness, sensory exploration and relaxation.
We begin with gentle follow along exercises aiming to improve posture, alignment and mobility. Various options (using a yoga mat or seated) are offered so that participants can adapt exercises to best suit their bodies.
We then move on to mindful body awareness and sensory exploration. These tasks begin individually, allowing participants to find their own way of moving, before exploring collective awareness through playful interaction. We will explore imagery, breath, and responding to music.
The session concludes with time to reflect through writing, drawing and discussion, before finding stillness in relaxation.
The session will be led by Jorja Follina, professional Dancer and Fitness Instructor.

We offer full day, half day or hourly rates - just let us know what you are looking for and we will try our best to accommodate.
