This class is designed to be a safe space for you to focus on getting your body strong to support you as you begin this exciting journey of motherhood. Whether it’s your first time round or not, your body will have gone through some huge changes and with a Pilates programme we can work on regaining core strength, Pelvic floor muscular strength and an awareness of your body as it is now.
You can have your baby right there with you, so you are free to tend to their needs whilst still being part of the class. At the end of each session there will be a short relaxation and a chance to chat and meet with other mums.
This programme is about you (and your baby) So, creating a safe environment where you can feel at ease is important. I’m a mum of two and although my children are older, I have not forgotten what it feels like to be a new mum and the importance of sharing that experience with other mums without judgement or pressure. During the class if your baby needs feeding, changing or a cuddle, I would like everyone to feel that this is part of the class and that it’s ok to take time out of the class to tend to your baby
To qualify for this programme, you must be four to six weeks postpartum (if you’ve had a caesarean I would suggest a little longer) and you must be cleared by your doctor/health visitor to participate. Whether you are an athlete or someone who spends less time exercising, this class is suitable for you all at this stage. Your bodies are recovering and healing and this is the same no matter what your general fitness level may be. If you have any concerns or are not sure, it’s best to check with your doctor or health visitor first before signing up. You are welcome to continue with this class until your baby is on the move (around 7-9months) at which point it becomes unsafe.

Finally
The course will run for 6 weeks. The cost of the course will be £120. This is paid in advance of the course starting. Once payment is received, that is your place confirmed.
